Cap & Fascia
Cap & Fascia treatments are usually applied to the Wood Fence Panels after the fence panels are installed.
Cap and Fascia style fence is a top treatment where we move the stringer up even with top of the picket/slat.
.
We can then add a "cap" piece to the top and/or a "fascia" piece to the Face Side of the installed fence.
When installing Cap, it is best to avoid seams that align with the Line Posts, it creates a weak spot in the fence line.
All wood fence panel styles can be had with the cap & fascia style.
The most common capping materials are 2X4 and 2X6 . the most common fascia material is 3/4"X 3 1/2"
